Looking for a unique and special bed & breakfast experience or wedding
venue situated
on the bank of the Murray River? A place where you can relax and watch
the passing
Paddle Steamers from your private Gazebo, balcony or a secluded bush
hideaway on
the edge of the river, sipping a glass of wine or a coldy, relax in
the spa, or watch an
abundance of bird life around the spacious lawn area. And only 5
minutes by car to
Moama/Echuca and 10 minutes by barge along the river?
Then you have found just what you're looking for.

Bon Nerrin, meaning " By The Water" was the original name associated
with the Lanyon
family farm situated by the shores of Lake Leaghur in the Boort
district some 300 kms
north of Melbourne. Murray and Betty, in partnership with his brother Ian
and wife Marilyn,
farmed a 2000 hectare irrigation property for many years producing a
variety of crops,
which included processing tomatoes, export Lucerne, Sunflowers, winter
cereal grains,
and livestock for wool and meat production.
Moving from farming life in recent times, Murray and Betty purchased
this, their present
property in Moama on the Murray River which is now known as " Bon
Nerrin". Realising the
relaxed lifestyle and scenic position that the property offers we
decided to open our house to
guests providing bed and breakfast facilities so others may also enjoy
this unique experience.
It is our pleasure to open our home for your enjoyment and trust you
have a great time.
We will ensure your privacy is respected at all times.
Our B & B facilities are there for your personal use, and we hope that
you get as
much pleasure from Bon Nerrin's unique surroundings as we do.
