"Melrose" is the Albury Dream Cottage
that is self-catering accommodation for
long or short term stays. It could be a romantic weekend away, a
touring holiday
with the
children or you may be looking for a little luxury and
comfort that this cottage can offer.
This luxury cottage can sleep five with two
double bedrooms and one single bed in
the third bedroom that doubles as an office with computer port, desk and
office chair.
The comfortable sofa divan in the lounge can sleep another couple if
needed. An open
plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a dining table for six, a
full kitchen with
dishwasher, microwave and all crockery and cutlery for your stay.
The new bathroom offers
a
double size shower with vanity and toilet. We include an
Australian Standard Porta
Cot, baby bath, change table and highchair if needed. Play
equipment
is provided in
the rear garden. The laundry is fully equipped with a washing
machine,
cloth dryer and
ample bench space. Close by is a second toilet. The carport
provides
undercover
access to the cottage.

The red brick 1941 Californian Bungalow is an
example of the many Australian homes
built in the Art Deco style and has been extensively renovated to reflect
that era.
The high ceilings, polished timber doors,
brass door furniture and ornate fireplace
give this cottage an understated charm. The gardens have been planted with
seduction
roses, hedges and camelias. The present owners have taken care to design
the
new carport to compliment the house.

situated 2 km from the Albury Post
Office and one block off the Hume Highway in Wood St Albury. The central
location offers
scope to shop, dine and club in the Dean Street area of Albury.
The cottage is central to all clubs of Albury
who provide a free bus to transport you
to and from your door. Lake Hume is another "must see" along with the
gold mining
regions of Beechworth, the beauty of Bright in the Autumn, the
winemakers of
