Travellers Rest Motor Inn Swan Hill is about a 4 hour drive from Melbourne through
changing scenery - from grazing to rich dairy country and then into fruit and grape
growing areas. It is ideally located approximately 100 meters from the Post Office and
main shopping area, with dining, entertainment and the Murray River all very close by.

The Historic Burke and Wills Tree, classified by the National Trust, planted by the
explorers Burke and Wills on their epic journey in 1860, stands in the grounds of the
Travellers Rest Motor Inn. It stands 30 meters in height, 44 meters wide and is the
largest Moreton Bay Fig Tree in Australia.

Your hosts Mal and Bernadette  welcome you into a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
