What to do once you've reached Albury Wodonga
Once you've settled on your Albury accommodation, one of the first thing you'll notice is the fantastic parklands and reserves. Albury's award winning Botanic Gardens is located at the top of the main street and definitely worth visiting. If you're travelling during summer and need to beat the heat, cool down in one of the swimming holes - Noreuil Park, Mungabareena Reserve or down past the water works along Borella Road.
Lake Hume
The picturesque Lake Hume reservoir is located just 16km from Albury Wodonga. There are many great picnic and camping sites on the shores of the Hume and lots of beaches to kick back and relax on. Fishing is also a popular pastime, as is sailing, jet skiing and wind surfing.
