Nestled along the Murray River and boasting all the amenities necessary for the perfect
getaway, Corowa Golf Club comprises a sizzling 27 hole championship golf course,
pro shop, modern clubhouse and motel.

Situated in the heart of the world-renowned Rutherglen wine district, within an easy 30
minute drive from Albury-Wodonga, Corowa Golf Club is ideally-located for anyone looking
for a pleasurable game of golf, a relaxing break away or a place to party. Businesses have
also discovered all the essentials necessary for successful seminars, conferences and
training sessions are all available on site.

Just metres from the mighty Murray River and boasting magnificent scenery, Corowa
Golf Club's course is a 27 hole championship-rated course offering challenges
to all levels of golfing ability.

The original course, one of the most charming to play in Australia, was designed by
Al Howard and established in 1955. It is nestled amongst river gums along the course of
the Murray River and offers golfers of all abilities a challenging and rewarding round that
only a course of this age can. Adam and Marcus Fraser, James McLean and Brent
O'Donoghue learned their craft on this course.

The front 9 holes, also designed by Al Howard, were established in 1980. The front 9 fairways
are mostly long and open, unlike the old course, offering the variety some golfers may prefer.
The course itself is rated in the top 100 public-access golf courses in the country.

There are practice areas for both putting and driving, with tuition available from the pro shop.

Take the not-so-challenging one minute wander from the motel or car park to the clubhouse,
have a quite tea or coffee and look out over the panoramic view of your next challenge for the
day, the mature and inviting Corowa Golf Course.

TAB and Keno facilities are available in the clubhouse, takeaway is available from the bar
and the Spike bar is open Thursdays and Saturdays from 11am to the last group in the
competition. At nightfall, you'll probably be ready for relaxed dining or some vigorous partying.

Whatever the challenge you've set yourself, either for the day or throughout your
Play 'n' Stay stopover with us, we're always ready to make it happen for you.

Whether you're looking for a breather from the day's play, organising a lunch or dinner with
fellow players and friends or arranging a more formal gathering, Corowa Golf Club's Pelicans
Restaurant is the ideal venue. Great food complemented by a broad range of beers, spirits,
the best local wines and brilliant views of the course, day and night.

For families, there are extensive facilities for weddings, parties and other gatherings.
For business, we have all necessary amenities for seminars, conferences and training sessions.

Golf, tennis, a relaxing meander through some of Australia's best wineries, then party time!
It's all too much for one day, of course, so why not set aside the extra time and have it all?
With on-course accommodation in our 35 room motel and many more off-site stay-over
options available, there's no excuse. You can do it all in one of the most popular tourist regions
in the country and join us at the Club house at the end of each action-packed day.

Play and Stay packages include accommodation (based on-course), continental breakfast,
a restaurant dinner and unlimited golf. Prices are based on twin share accommodation per
person. Non-playing packages can also be arranged along with junior packages.

Rich in history and set in the heart of the Rutherglen wine region, Corowa is the perfect
base from which to explore the rich diversity that has made the area a firm favourite with
tourists. Itself an historical icon as the birthplace of Federation, Corowa is a neighbour to Ned
Kelly country, the historic Beechworth district and the rich cultural centre of Albury-Wodonga.

The Corowa region has a wealth of natural beauty, an incredible array of sporting, tourist and
cultural attractions and all the amenities that make for the perfect holiday. There are snow fields
close at hand in the winter season catering for the most experienced skier through to the weekend
family group looking for fun in the snow and the experience of winter in the bush. For the more
city-orientated, there are the busy centres of Corowa, Rutherglen, Albury-Wodonga and Wangaratta
with their fashionable retail stores, great specialty shops, nightclubs, restaurants and bars.

The team at the Corowa Golf Resort is happy to assist visitors to the region in getting the
most from their holiday experience.
