Situated in the Mannum township on an acre of land only 10 minute walk from the Murray River, this hobbyist display has three of the large Kangaroo species - Wallabies and 2 species of Bettongs. In 20 aviaries a variety of Australian Cockatoos, Parrots, Finches, Softbills (including Kookaburras), Woodswallows and Wrens are on Display. Also on view are Forktail Kites and a very friendly Magpie. In a heated room a variety of lizards and 6 pythons most of which can be handled are housed in separate vivariums. Frogs are also on display. |
There is wheelchair access to 95% of the display. Guided tours only: 1 - 40 people Coaches welcomed
