Riverland Harvest Festival and Great Grape Stomp
24 Mar 2017
Annual festival celebrating the grape harvest and features ‘The Great Grape Stomp’. It is the major fundraiser for the Loxton North School and is the largest and longest running harvest celebration in the region. It promises to be a feast of fun, food and entertainment for the whole family. The Great Stomp is the highlight event as teams race to fill a bottle of juice from their barrel of grapes in the traditional (barefoot) manner. The action gets fast, furious and well …. sticky!
