If a client clicks on your e-mail address on your page they will
make contact with you
direct (if you have email connected). There is no charge for this. Should you not currently
be on
e-mail but are considering it, please advise us and we will re-direct your leads
via
e-mail and re-direct your site contact to your own address.
If you would like your own mailbox set up for
the Murray River Web Site, we can
arrange this for a small fee.

Any sales leads or enquiries received will be faxed on to you.
1. Replying to sales leads and Enquiries
Most people that have found you on the internet, want their information right there and
then.
They are virtual shoppers, they didn't enter your virtual shop to be told you'll get
back to them.
The best way to effect a sale is to give them 70% of what you want them to have and the
final 30% is more about the personal service aspect and putting a voice to the
information.
Sales leads to date for Houseboats alone (March 2000) have proven very productive with
over 38.7% of all reported relative leads being
converted to bookings.
If your not booking from your sales leads, your doing
something wrong!

Periodically we send out an e-mailed newsletter to hundreds of people that have joined our site as members. These are people who are interested in the Murray and what it
has to offer. If you have a special offer or and event you are involved with send it to us,
we will try wherever possible to put it in the news letter or publish it to the site.
Change your images!
Every year or so it is important to freshen up your page, we have already found that people are visiting pages more than once, coming back to the same page is like buying
yesterdays paper.
Sponsor an area!
Sponsoring an area is an excellent way to get another link to your page. For
around $35 you can sponsor a major menu page on the web site and get a link back to your home page.

How many sites/pages should we have?
Just like any form of advertising, you must weigh up the value of your advertising dollar
and how many magazines or publications you would like to be represented in.
The Internet is no different apart from the fact that all of the magazines are read by
the
customer in the same place. Their computer!
