Adelaide is Australia's oldest operating paddlesteamer.

Adelaide spent most of its life towing barges loaded with wood for the Echuca sawmills.

In 1963 it was removed from the water and set up as a display in Echuca's Hopgood Gardens. Refloated in 1984 after 4 years of restoration work, Adelaide was recommissioned in 1985.
