Terms & Conditions

• Person responsible for the craft under hire must be at least 18 years of age and able to present a current boat or vehicle driver’s license.
• Person responsible must agree to observe all Department of Transport Marine regulations.
• Number of persons aboard shall not exceed the number of berths (12) by Marine regulations.
• Houseboat must not be driven south of the Wellington Ferry.
• Houseboat must not be driven at night.
• Craft must be returned at time specified to avoid surcharges.
• A reservation can be confirmed by a $300 deposit with full payment six weeks prior to the date of commencement of hire.
• Where late cancellations occur and we are unable to re-book the craft for that period, we reserve the right to refund deposits at our discretion.
• A Cash Only Bond of $900 is required by the owner/manager on arrival. This will be refunded less the fuel costs, sewerage pump-out fee of $15. Any damages or losses occurring during the hire will be charged at cost.
• The owner/manager/agent reserves the right to refuse any person(s) the use of the craft.
• No pets, firearms, trail bikes or wood cutting implements allowed.
• Every endeavour will be made to have the boat, motors and accessories in good working order. However, the owner/manager/agent will not be obligated to compensate the hirer for any loss of time due to mechanical problems during the hire period.
