Leaving The Alfred Deakin Centre we travel along Deakin Avenue towards the riverfront.

The Mildura Workingman's club is located on the right as we drive along Deakin Avenue. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, the club was once home to the longest continuous bar in the world.

Turning right into Seventh Street, at the roundabout turn left travelling over the George Chaffey Bridge, opened in 1985.

At the roundabout veer right. To our right in the group of shops is NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service responsible for overseeing Mungo National Park.

Further along Gol Gol Fisheries, is on our right. Fresh fish and yabbie purchases can be made.

Continuing along Sunraysia Garden Centre is on the left. The garden centre is open daily, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 5pm weekends and public holidays. Closed Good Friday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

We are now entering Gol Gol. On our right is a lovely walking track along the river to Drings Hill. On Drings Hill is an ancient Aboriginal Midden.

Further along is the Paddlewheel Hotel, open 7 days a week. From the hotel we leave the highway and follow Adelaide Street to the Gallery of China and Ceramics featuring all hand painted work by Margaret Ruddick. The gallery is open most days 2pm to 5pm.

Back to the highway we continue to Trentham Estate Winery. Owned by the Murphy family, the winery features a wonderful restaurant overlooking the Murray River. The P.V.Rothbury cruises to the winery from Mildura Wharf every Thursday. Winery hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and weekends 10am to 5pm. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Travel along the highway a further 100m to The Ostrich Shop, an opportunity to purchase a truly unique gift.

Leaving the Ostrich Shop we retrace the tour back to Mildura where Tourist Drive 6 concludes.
