The Barmera Visitor Information Centre friendly staff are happy to help with all of your enquiries and holiday requirements to make your stay one to remember. A visit here will ensure you are well informed on all aspects of dicovering the Riverland. Conveniently located at the top of Barwell Avenue opposite the round-about, we are open 7 days,9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays from 9am to 12noon and Sundays from 10am to 1pm.
The Visitor Information Centre is community run.We are an interpretive centre and is the starting point for many Barmera based activities. Questions are welcomed here as you take a seat in the air-conditioned Cafe and indulge in a boutique coffee experience.
Catering to gourmet taste buds, our tantalizing array of beverages and accompanying desserts are served indoors or alfresco. The memorabilia and information available for your perusal is extensive and aimed at making your holiday relaxing. Whether it is a stroll through town to the foreshore and back on the Heritage Walk reliving the town’s rich history, or the beginnings of a shopping indulgence, make the Barmera Visitor Information Centre your starting point.
