The Inland Aquatic Paradise of Yarrawonga Mulwala sit on the edge of Lake Mulwala and the weir was built in 1939 which is the largest along the Murray River system. A great place with excellent events and a wonderful climate to enjoy a Murray River holiday!

The unique view of Tea Tree Crossing while the lagoon is low and normally difficult to cross to the Southern Ocean. Salt Creek offers 4WD, fisherman, kayakers, birdwatchers, mountain biking and much more to experience this remote wilderness region of South Australia at the end of the Murray Darling Basin system. You can access the Coorong and Southern Ocean through the Forty Two mile and Tea Tree crossing where the Ninety Mile Beach is a favourite Surf Fishing spot. It is 4WD only. Further along from Salt Creek there is generally 2WD access to Granites Beach and the Coorong.

South Australia's section of the Murray River has some spectacular limestone and sandstone cliffs you can enjoy. As you drive from Blanchetown to near Mannum along the Scenic Murray Cliff Drive you'll see some some spectacular sites that really show you how old the ancient river system is. Massive volumes of water during the ice ages carved these ancient cliffs that still contain seashell fossils. The most famous is Big Bend near Nildottie, a 12 kilometre S shaped cliff of inspiring shear drop from top to bottom. However the cliffs of Swan Reach, Walker Flat, Purnong, Caurnamont, Bowhill and Teal Flat are amazing and diverse. Beautiful. Enjoy!
