300 of Australia’s best Kart drivers made up of 9 classes all competing to win a Green number plate ‘Australia 1’ for 2013.
Bitumen karting comes to the Monarto Karting Facility for the running of the 51st Australian National Sprint Kart Championships proudly hosted by the AKA and the Go Kart Club of SA.
Qualifying starts Friday 29th March followed by heats, then on Sunday the action heats up with a 16 lap final deciding who will be crowned ‘Australia 1’ in each class for 2013.
Past South Australian Karting champions include current V8 Supercar drivers Russell Ingall and Nick Percat.
Will we find another South Australian karter who can win a ‘Green plate’ in 2013 then go on to compete in the pinnacle of motorsport in Australia V8 Supercars?
