The Floral Festival
18 May - 30 Jun 2013
The Albury Floral Festival ran annually in March from 1951-1972. The event included a parade of floats along Dean Street to the Albury Sportsground as well as a Floral Festival Queen Competition, where a Festival Queen was crowned at the finish of the parade.
For this display, the Albury Floral Festival is presented in its entire colour and celebration through a collection of Floral Festival gowns, memorabilia and numerous photographs from throughout its 21 years.
The opening will be an opportunity to celebrate International Museums Day.
Join our present volunteers on 17 May and help Celebrate National Volunteers Week with a guided tour through the exhibition.
