THE GRASSLANDS SOCIETY OF SOUTHERN AUSTRALIA'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Farmers in Albury City and the surrounding area have a unique opportunity to take part in one of the Australian grazing industries prime events. The Grasslands Society of Southern Australia’s Annual Conference will be of great interest not only to farmers, but also to rural consultants and agronomists, scientists and others interested in cutting-edge information on grazing enterprises and pasture production.
The society is Australia’s peak farmer organisation dedicated to the transfer of information and technology related to temperate grasslands. Formed in 1959, the society has branches in South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and southern NSW.
Each year the society runs a number of events, which focus on knowledge transfer from research and industry providers to predominantly the farmer member base, but also the wider rural community.
This year the conference will have a number of cutting-edge speakers in the grazing and livestock industries and several tours to leading farming and research organisations in the region. The conference will also have a very comprehensive trade display with more than 40 exhibitors expected.
