WAM is a celebration of writing, illustrating and storytelling. Being accessible to all, it is an opportunity for writers, readers, artists and storytellers of all genres to share stories and develop knowledge and skills.
The wide range of activities includes a festival dinner, literary lunch, workshops, panel sessions and presentations, short story competitions and a wood fire oven event by the river.
WAM has continued to grow each year since its beginning in 2007 and with its heart in regional Australia, the festival is a testament to the motivation and interest of readers, writers and artists in the area.
Australian Voices is the theme for this years WAM Festival, bringing to life the voices of the past and present. Be prepared to be entrtained, informed, challenged, suprised and
enchanted as you immerse your self and ponder the diverse voices of Australia.
