Dreaming of Summer

On Saturday 22 November Wodonga Institute of TAFE are holding “Dreaming of Summer” a fundraising community day at their magnificent McKoy Street campus.
The event will run from 11am until 5pm with lots of fun activities to participate in, as well as a live band, musicians and entertainment.
Local Market, food, cider and wine stalls will be on hand for your shopping, food and beverage needs.
Throughout the day people will be able to enter a mega-raffle that has multiple prizes on offer, with a combined value of over $12,000!
The main aim of the day is to raise some much needed funds for Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare (AWRFS).
AWRFS is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation specialising in the collection and distribution of rescued food. Every week AWRFS distributes over 25 tonnes (the equivalent of 33,400 individual meals) to those in need. AWRFS and its volunteers operate out of Wodonga TAFE’s Moorefield Park Drive facilities and provide these food services to 105 local agencies in the region.
Wodonga TAFE is a proud supporter of AWRFS. All proceeds for the day will be given to AWRFS to help them assist those in need. Entrance to the festivities requires a gold coin donation.
Dreaming of Summer aims to be an inclusive and fun environment for the local community to gather behind a terrific cause. As one could surmise, the theme of the day is summer and its impending, awaited arrival.
