Murray Charity Meander 2015
23 - 24 Feb 2015
This is not a race, more a contest of wits, ingenuity and social endurance. It’s an also excellent opportunity for community minded people to raise funds for cancer support.
The event consists of a fleet of tinnies traveling along a section of the Murray River from Bringenbrog Bridge to Echuca Moama.
On Monday 23 February teams will travel down the Murray River, arrivng at the Hume Weir. Come out, meet the teams and encourage them as they prepare for the next leg of their journey towards Corowa.
Proceeds from the event go to Otis Foundation, www.otisfoundation.org.au, which provides retreat accommodation for women with breast cancer, and to establish oncology nursing scholarships to support cancer services.
Interesting in particapting in the event? More teams are welcome.
