2015 ALBURY SHOW

30 Oct - 01 Nov 2015

2015 ALBURY SHOW BIGGEST AND BEST YET

The Albury Show Society is excited to launch its 2015 Albury Show featuring a raft of attractions and entertainment promised for the whole family.

2015 has brought an infusion of new members onto the committee who, with innovative ideas, have been working hard to revitalise the show to sustain it into the future.

This year’s event promises to be one of the biggest and best ever with a full program of activities including the Trackskill V8 Utes, Championship Woodchop and the return of the ever-popular Show Parade.
‘As well as the old favourites such as the fireworks on both Friday and Saturday nights, Eroni’s Circus and better than ever Animal Nursery, rides, show bag court and exhibitions, this year’s event will also feature some great new additions,’ Mrs Walsh said.

‘World champion axeman David Foster will act as an ambassador and introduce some of the best competitors in Australia to smash it out in a range of wood chop events. Add to that the amazing Trackskill V8 Utes and niche events such as the Great Albury Lego Challenge, reptile display, working sheepdog demonstrations, and big army equipment display. Over the three days there will be live music in Show Central. This year we have also added free pony rides for the kids, Australia’s tallest horse, and a Sunday market.

Exhibitors can enter a refreshed Arts and Crafts Section as well as exhibits of Lego, Photography, Cooking, Agriculture and Horticulture. There will be a ‘Teddy Bear Picnic’ display for the young and old to enjoy and the Pet Show will be held again on the Sunday at 11am.

There really is something for everyone and we want to ensure that the Show is affordable for families which is why we have kept admission prices to an absolute minimum again this year.’

The Show will get underway on Friday 30 October at 3pm and run through until 4pm Sunday 1 November.
