Have you ever wondered what it takes to get good safe drinking water to your taps?

Behind the scenes is a complex set of processes, yet with beautifully simple engineering. On this tour of the Morgan Water Filtration Plant visitors will be shown around SA Water’s largest owned and operated water treatment plant. The plant draws untreated water from the River Murray, filters and disinfects it and then pumps it along the pipelines to the Hanson Storage near Clare. From here it is gravity fed to the Mid North, York Peninsula and parts of Eyre Peninsula.

Event Venue:	SA WATER Morgan Water Filtration Plant – Renmark Rd, Morgan, 2 minutes outside of Morgan on the Morgan-Renmark Rd Meeting Point: Use the intercom at the main gate to be let in 5320
Event Times:	10 am to 12 pm Wednesday and Friday
