An all-terrain, all ages exploration of Hans Christian Anderse’s classic tale, The Snow Queen.
theatre simple from Seattle, USA, join with a local cast and crew to tell the story of Gerda as she searches for her lost friend in and around Murray Bridge’s riverfront Sturt Reserve.
Tagging along with the players, you’ll discover love in many guises – remembering what it means to grow up, but not away from the child inside. Expect random encounters with devious devils, singing flowers, royalty, talking crows and guardian angels.
Fairytales are not just for kids anymore… but then again, they never were.

theatre simple has been appearing at the Adelaide Fringe since 1996, won 2 Fringe Awards and has proudly woven a second artistic home in South Australia.

Things to know: Members of the community will join the company for these performances and the show will be performed on both days of Dusk on the Riverfront. Places on the journey are limited so if you miss out on Saturday, come back on Sunday and try again.
