State History Conference 2010

State History Conference 2010
History Trust of South Australia
Ripples 2010 is proud to host the 19th State History Conference, CROSS-CURRENTS: History, People and the Environment, presented by History SA (formerly the History Trust of South Australia).
With the River as the starting point, the relationships between history and the environment will be explored – how the environment has shaped human activity, and how that activity has, in turn, shaped the environment. The conference will examine people in the environment from a range of perspectives, highlighting the relationship between history and other research fields including archaeology, literature, anthropology, geography and the natural sciences.
