2020 Goolwa Aquafest

Come and enjoy the `Goolwa Aquafest’ classic speedboat event.
Its a weekend of beautiful & quick vintage, classic and modern race & speedboats strutting their stuff at the Goolwa Aquatic Club.
You will see vintage wooden hydroplanes, skiffs, classic old race & ski boats, plus fiberglass classic race & ski boats right up to modern style race boats.
The event is fully catered and family friendly with food stalls and amusement rides for the kids.
Admission is FREE both days.
This is a full two day event with the boats taking part in formalized heats where common styles of craft taking to the water and putting on a demonstration of the golden years of speedboat events.
On Saturday morning the boats are free to run as they please and is designed to by an enjoyed and relaxed for the entrants.
Saturday afternoon we will each boat group will have a four lap demo run.
Sunday is a full day of demonstration heats with a couple of special demo’s added in.
There is Hot Rod, Custom & Classic car display.
Top all that of with a vintage aeroplane flyover buzzing the crowd, and its a action packed day on land, on the water and in the air.
Its a fantastic family day with something for everyone to enjoy.
