Barmera Sheep Dog Trials

The Barmera Sheep Dog trial is on 14th – 17th October 2010. Taking on a new flair this year with a Beef, Beer and Border Collie themed event. The event will feature locally produced beer along with various local meats cooked on barbeques overlooking the trial arena.
As normal the event is going to be held on the Barmera oval located at the end of Barmera’s main street, making it a great location.
Border Collie working dogs from interstate and all of South Australia will compete to move three sheep through an obstacle course within 15 minutes. Points are deducted for sheep that move off the set course. There will also be other entertainment for the whole family with skydivers and sheep chariot races.
Free admission, so come along and enjoy the Beef, Beer and Border Collie spectacular…
