A DAY OUT FOR MAN’S BEST FRIEND!
Paws in the Park showcase a variety of interesting pet stalls, obedience training and grooming workshops.
Pet owners will have the opportunity to show off their much loved dogs by participating in one of the paws parade categories. Pet owners are advised to arrive early to register their dogs for the parades; entries close 30 minutes prior to each parade.
A feature of this popular event is the doggy obstacle course complete with cones, hoops, jumps and water challenges. Children will be entertained with a variety of art and roving entertainment, and there will be scrumptious food for the whole family.
Pet owners will have the opportunity to register, microchip or have their pets washed at a discounted rate.
One of the highlights not to be missed will be the amazing Flyball demonstrations.
Flyball is a team sport that encompasses all things that dogs love to do – jumping, catching, retrieving competing and striving to please their owners.
The Wodonga branch of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Victoria and the Albury & Border Kennel Club will join forces to conduct training in obedience, agility, show and tracking.
Activities include:
- Pet registrations and renewals,
- Discounted micro-chipping,
- Obedience and Flyball demonstrations,
- Discounted dog washes,
- Paws parades,
- Stalls of pet accessories and products,
- Children’s art activities,
- Scrumptious food for the whole family,
- Parades MC by Matt and LC of 104.9 Star FM and
- Pet obstacle course.
