Vicki Nottage Sculpture Court : Blokes and their BBQs
An exhibition celebrating the skills of talented rural men, as they sculpturally transform the humble BBQ. By harnessing the unrecognised talents of regional men, and in acknowledgement of the heritage of the local community, a series of engaging workshops has produced a collection of functional yet artistic BBQ’s. A community project funded by Country Arts SA through the Regional Arts Fund, an Australian Government Initiative supporting the arts in regional and remote Australia.
Watch out for the blokes and their quirky BBQs at Ripples events throughout 2010.
Exhibition closes Saturday 12 June
