Annually in April

April in the Snowy Mountains explodes with entertainment and festivities to celebrate the legend of Banjo Paterson’s Man from Snowy River! The Festival boasts The SolarCo Man from Snowy River Stockman’s Challenge, Riley’s Ride (a 4-day trail ride), ute muster, street markets, dog jump, outdoor Country Rock Concert, bush poetry and music, WAW Art & Photography Exhibition and real life theatrical portrayal of Banjo’s Man from Snowy River poem, as the highlights of the event.
