Open Day 'A Working Village' 25th Anniversary
02 Oct 2011
You will be able to see how our forebearers lived and farmed in what some may describe as harsh conditions. There will be demonstrations on spinning, shearing, rope making, scone making (from the old bakers oven). A BBQ lunch is available and all-day cuppas. The Pioneer Park contains 20 heritage buildings and 350 commemorative trees dedicated to local pioneers. This is a real ‘hands on’ working history park set in natural bushland.
