Mallee Almond Blossom Festival

This years marks the 5th Annual Mallee Almond Blossom Festival
Once again the Festival will be held at the Robinvale Golf Club. Come prepared for a wonderfully relaxing day sampling and purchasing local produce such as almonds, olives, flavoured olive oils and salad dressings, avocados, sultanas, fresh garden produce, local honey and more.
Locally owned and family operated wineries will be in attendance for wine sampling and purchase. There will be a wide variety of food to choose from too, from favourites such as a BBQ, Thai food, hot dogs and spaghetti.
As in past years, complimentary guided bus tours of local almond and pistachio farms will take place throughout the day but be quick – this activity fills fast. District craftspeople will be out in force too with clothing, jewellery, gourmet foods, artwork and craftwork available for purchase.
For those with littlies that need to be kept amused there will be a roving entertainer, jumping castle, Laser Tag, face painting and plenty of lawn to run around on. Other attractions include a vintage car display, motor bike display, Railway museum display and multicultural entertainment such as dancing and singing.
This year there will be two stages. The Jam Club will provide great music all day and local talent will perform on another stage.
A cook-off will be compered by Chef Andy from Seasons Restaurant in Mildura. Junior and Senior sections will by vying for first place. Visitors are welcome to enter the Bossom bake off. Just bring along something cooked with almonds and enter on the day.
Entry is just $5 per adult over 16.
The Blossom Festival Golf Classic will be taking place at Robinvale Golf Club on Saturday 20 August with the chance to win a car for a hole in one.
