Narnu Farm have successfully received a 4th straight tourism award for accommodation!

Sarah & Joel are the 3rd operators of Narnu Farm and have been running the business since mid 2003. Both Sarah and Joel have university degrees in Eco-Tourism and Sarah is a fully qualified riding instructor through PONY CLUB and AUSTRALIAN HORSERIDING CENTRES. They are both young and enthusiastic and have injected a ‘new life’ into the well recognised Narnu name, since taking on Narnu Farm they have endeavoured to improve facilities and safety standards to maximise the enjoyment of all guests and visitors.

Sarah and Joel have managed substantial achievements to the aesthetics around the farm, improving the Bunkhouse facility, horse riding, farm animal experience & Self Contained Cottages. They have also made several contributions to the community through their support of Wildlife protection in the local area. Narnu Farm has helped sponsor and build a custom Sea Bird Rehabilitation Centre, which is located and staffed at Narnu Farm.

Sarah and Joel’s future plans include the development of an Eco-Studio to allow Narnu to branch into Environmental education as well as the continued effort in improvement to accommodation and other on-site facilities.

We are located on picturesque Hindmarsh Island overlooking the Murray River, near the sleepy riverside town of Goolwa on the South Coast of South Australia.

From the CBD of Adelaide it takes about one hour and fifteen minutes to get here.

By road travel south from Adelaide to the River Port of Goolwa, then take the bridge to Hindmarsh Island. Continue along the main road (Randall Road) for the next 3kms and turn left onto Monument Road. Take your next right onto Sidney Parade….Welcome to Narnu.
