Oz Houseboats commenced operations as Jubilee Line Houseboats in 1991 at Long Island Marina, Murray Bridge, with 2 houseboats. Shortly after commencement of business Peter Sommers the owner/manager was asked to take on additional houseboats under management.

As business grew Peter saw the necessity to move with the times and create a new business name which better reflected the expansion of his houseboats business and in 2002 adopted the new trading name of “Oz Houseboats”.

There are now 24 houseboats in the fleet ranging from budget to luxury.

Peter and his experienced staff pride them selves with offering OZ Houseboat clients a professional and courteous service.Our aim is “CUSTOMER SATISFACTION FIRST”

Directions from Adelaide

Travel to Murray Bridge along the South Eastern Freeway. Turn left at the 2nd Murray Bridge exit. Follow the road to a “T” junction and turn right towards Murray Bridge. Turn right again at Long Island Road at the High School. Turn 4th right into Roper Road and follow to the end where you will enter Long Island Marina. Go to the office where you will be directed to your houseboat.

Directions from Eastern States

Shortly after crossing the Murray River on the Swanport Bridge you will turn left at the Murray Bridge exit. Follow the exit road to a “T” junction and turn right towards Murray Bridge. Turn right onto Long Island Road at the High School. Turn forth right into Roper Road and follow to the end where you will enter Long Island Marina. Go to the office where you will be directed to your houseboat.
