THE RIVER HOUSE is available to singles, couples, families and groups for a min stay of 3 nights or more. The house is located on the banks of the Murray River, located 200m from a boat ramp on the quieter, local stretch of river. It is approximately 1km walk from the heart of town but feels miles away. Enjoy the serenity of waking up overlooking the river on your balcony, while you enjoy an early morning coffee or a mid afternoon wine. The River House has four large bedrooms, the master upstairs while remaining rooms are downstairs. The master has a large luxurious full bathroom while downstairs you will find a shower room and toilet. The house has an expansive kitchen with all modern facilities adjacent to the deck and a large lounge room with a large smart tv for guest viewing. Two of the rooms have tv's for in room entertainment. The house is cooled and heated via reverse cycle units to keep you comfortable all year round. The house has continuous views along the local stretch of river through huge glass windows and an expansive garden for play or parking of ski boats. The house is a favourite amongst ski enthusiasts or those visiting family in the area that need a little more room. The house is Pet Friendly BUT pets must remain outside and tied up when unattended. We ask that you advise us if bringing pets. This is to ensure we let neighbors know who have livestock nearby. The house is available most times of the year subject to availability and a bond is payable prior to entry. We would love you to experience what we wake up to each day but as this is our family home we are a little protective of it. The cost of hiring the house is subject to the season and length of stay. Welcome to the River House. This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury room is situated 100m from the Murray River in Robinvale. The house takes advantage of the wonderful views with reverse living and an outdoor deck for alfresco dining. The house is located approximately 300 metres from the local boat ramp and 1km from the township of Robinvale.
The house is ideal for singles, couples, families and groups that enjoy taking advantage of all the River has to offer be it fishing, water skiing or simply enjoying the serenity. The property has undercover boat parking and plenty of room for additional vehicles. The house can accommodate up to 8 people with an option of hiring a camper trailer for additional guests.
This is our family home and as such we take great pride in it and enjoy sharing it with others to see what life is like living on the mighty Murray River
The four bedrooms available in the house include a master suite upstairs with a queen bed, smart tv and ensuite and walk in robe. The other three rooms are downstairs with a queen, a king bed (can be split into two singles) and another queen bed with tv and outside access to a small sitting area.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge area has a huge smart tv for your entertainment. The deck has a fully gassed BBQ and outdoor dining table and chairs.
The gardens are large and there is a grassed area for a good game of cricket or touch rugby if you are up to it.
Ginn’s boat ramp is located within walking and a short drives distance for easy access to the river. The house sits on approximately 100 m from the bank of the river. The bank is somewhat steep and it is not recommended that you swim directly off the bank.
There is ample parking for vehicles and boats within the fenced area although some guests do choose to leave their boats on the river for their stay.
The house is a short walk to town and approximately a 2km walk to the Riverside Caravan Park. The local swimming pool is also a short drive or walk from the house.
Dining options within walking distance is the The Jack Bar & Bistro in Robinvale or the Robinvale Golf Club. The local Chinese Restaurant and Thai options are also within the central part of town.

There is a 3 day minimum for stays although at certain times of the year a 2 day minimum maybe available.
We require a months notice for cancellation of bookings longer than 3 days and two weeks notice for 3 day bookings or less. There are no cancellation fees within these limitations. Outside of these times a fee may apply.
Please note that a bond is required for any booking. This will be dependent on the number of guests and days booked and is only taken close to check in date. Fortunately we have never not returned a bond in full. Any damage to the home and surrounds will deducted from the bond.
We do have a NO PARTY policy and we ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 10pm.
