Welcome
Amalie is a solid old stone home built around 1910. Orginally used as a boarding house, the features are, three good sized bedrooms, two with queen bed and one with king bed or two singles. We have provisions to sleep two extra persons if required. Polished wood floors and throw rugs, open fire place and classic country and up market furniture.
This lovely old home is divided into two completely separate and private, large cottage apartments. Amalie 1 and Amalie 2, just perfect for that romantic weekend or using both cottages for your family getaway.
Amalie overlooks a large portion of the Waikerie Valley with distant river views and comfy out door settings to relax in. Only a couple of minutes walk to the shops, cafes and pub, also only a 10 min walk to the river. An easy drive to any Riverland attractions.
