1912 The Bakehouse opened
1913 Mr Hawkins baker
1924-26 Mr Burton baker
1930-32 William Taylor baker
1932-1936 Mr Sherrit
1936 - December 1944 Mr Arthur (Dick) Bertalli baker.
The Bertalli family lived in the Bush Nurse cottage and their three boys slept in a tent at the rear of the house.
1944 - 1952 Mr Harry Turnbull owned the bakery. A room was built onto the bakery during this time and supper was served here after Saturday night Hall functions. The Chimney of this room is still standing
1952 The Bakery closed.
It is not known when the actual building was pulled down.
2000-2001 - The Bakers oven was restored by the Cowangie Preservation Group with support from Dennis from the Pinnaroo Bakery.
October 2001 - The Bakers oven was lit up and a pizza evening was held after the opening of the Homestead.
2004 The verandah was added to the front of the oven.
The Bakers oven is managed by the Kow Plains Committee of Management.
