On the banks of the Murray River, under huge old red gums, Sunraysia Farmers’ Market is not just a revelation of local produce but a wonderful social event held at the picturesque Ornamental Lakes. A great way to start your market experience is with breakfast consisting of fresh produce from the market.
You can choose from our famous big breakfast of sausage, bacon, egg, veg & toast or the vegetarian plate or bacon & egg roll or sausage sandwich. A lighter option of muesli with yoghurt and fruit or pancakes with strawberries & cream is also on offer followed by fresh orange juice or coffee.
Stroll through the stalls where you can chat with the friendly Sunraysia region stallholders, enthusiasts for their offerings. There you will find a vast array of fresh vegetables, fruits, conserves, dried fruits, conserves, dried fruits, oils, preserves, plants, honey, flowers, nuts, baked goods, olives and meats locally grown or produced.
Bring the family, the dog, walk, ride or drive. Beautiful location, quality produce and friendly people …. an all round social event.
