On Saturday, 12th April 2014, Nowingi Place will become home to the delights of the inaugural Sunraysia Multicultural Festival. The community is invited to come and celebrate the wonderfully diverse ethnic cultures that make up the Murray Darling region.

A chance to participate in worldly experiences in Sunraysia, without the need to travel, through song, dance, music, food, arts and crafts. From 11am – 5pm, this free event will come alive with different languages, colourful costumes, new smells, tastes and sounds, as well as activities including cooking demonstrations, singing workshops and basket weaving for children.
