WALK WENTWORTH SING

Choirs and singing groups throughout Sunraysia are preparing for a wonderful day of chorus on Sunday 6th March. Groups have been invited to prepare a program of their finest and favourite songs to perform at a live acoustic venue in Wentworth, in a staggered program of short concerts that will mean that songs will be ‘in the air’ all afternoon. Patrons who wish to be inspired by song can walk from one venue to another to experience a rich variety of styles and repertoire, sampling the sights and delights of historic Wentworth on the way. Featured performers, Jane Thompson and James Rigby will begin the afternoon at Artback Gallery Café at 1pm. James & Jane are performers and community group singing leaders who run a variety of singing programs with a focus on building stronger communities. This joyful day of song will conclude at 7.30pm in the Wentworth Town Hall when all choirs will come together for a massed singing finale, including Community singing.
