Numurkah Show 2015

Welcome to Numurkah’s longest running Community Event. Only two World
Wars and floods have prevented the Society holding 134 Annual Shows!
Program begins 8.45 am with Show Jumping and ridden horse events on the
main arena and continuing throughout the day.
One of the biggest regional mid-week Championship Dog Shows can be viewed
on the northern end of the area from Chihauhaus to Great Danes striving for the
Best in Show title at the end of the day.
Animal Nursery with a Petting Pen; Hens clucking and Roosters crowing in the
Poultry Pavilion.
Side Shows, free miniature train rides, face painting, show bags add to the show
Atmosphere.
In the Southern end of the ground there are the sheep, dairy and beef cattle
Ccmpetitions.
A Fleece display and watch the spinning and weaving of the wool.
In 2014 over 500 entries in the Flowers, Floral Art and Garden Produce were on
display in this Pavilion.
School Displays and a very well supported Photography section rounds out the
space inside the building.
Cookery, Craft, Preserves and Art create a lot interest and colour in the Home
Produce Pavilion.
In the big Community Building on the upstairs level will be a centenary of Anzac
display by the Numurkah Historical S0ciety and the Numurkah RSL.
Stop and gaze across the beautiful Showgrounds and watch arena events unfold.
Truly Numurkah A & P Society Show is a Show all the Community ages from 2 to 102.
