'TALKING ABOUT DEATH' CAFE'
26 Nov 2017
What is a Death Café? At a Death Café, people often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death in small groups. Our objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. It is a group-directed discussion of death, with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a ‘discussion group’ rather than a grief support group or councelling session. We hope to demystify and reduce the societal stigma/taboo around talking about death. Registration for participation is required by the c.o.b. on the Wednesday prior to the event (max. number of participants is 20). Please contact Deb / Fiona to register, or for further information on ph. 50217200.
