Best of all, we are based in one of the best parts of the river at Morgan – the northern-most point of the magnificent Murray! We are in the enviable situation that because of the Morgan to Whyalla pipeline this section of the river must be constantly maintained at the current water levels.

From here, you can travel as far upstream as you possibly could in a hire period! There are countless secluded places where you can moor overnight and enjoy the spectacular scenery.

The impressive features available on all Fox Tale boats include:

• All the luxuries of home including all mod cons, enormous living areas, spacious, fully equipped modern kitchen, dining areas for 12 people on some boats , lounge with TV/DVD, air conditioning
• Foxatle 1 4 queen-size bedrooms plus option for 5th & 6th bedroom up to 12 ppl
• Foxtale 3 5 queen- size bedrooms – up to 10 ppl
• Foxatle 4 2 queen size bedrooms plus option for 3rd berdroom – up to 6 ppl
• Foxtale Murray Entertainer 5 queen size en suited bedrooms large upper deck – up to 12 ppl

• There is also a hot/cold shower on the swim deck and an outside toilet on some boats
• Large carpeted sun deck upstairs on most boats
• Store room for luggage on most too

Fox Tale 1 has a rear lounge – extremely popular as a comfortable spot to join in the fun when everyone is enjoying themselves on the swim deck when you are moored. Many families use it as a “kids retreat” where they can watch DVD’s and enjoy themselves while the parents have their own “space” in the main lounge area at the other end of the boat! This area on Fox Tale 3 has been made into the extra queen-size bedroom

Foxtale 4 has 2 queen bedrooms with ensuites plus foldout couch as the 3rd bedroom with ensuite also all other boats & layouts can be viewed at our website

Whether you want to go upstream or downstream there is an abundance of spectacular scenery to enjoy. If you would like some maps sent to you, let us know. As a simple guide, if you cruise along at a leisurely 2500 to 3000 rpm you will be travelling about 8km per hour. Most hirers like to do a little bit of travelling each day then find a nice spot to moor for the night and sit down and enjoy what the serenity of the Murray has to offer.

Head upstream past Cadell, through Lock 2 then on to Waikerie, Loxton, Berri and Renmark. Downstream you can go through Lock 1 at Blanchetown then head down towards Swan Reach, Purnong, Walker Flat towards Mannum.

Your only restriction is how long you book for. We recommend a week – on a weekend you have only just started to unwind and relax when it is time to turn around and head back to Morgan then go through the routine of packing up again! A week allows you the luxury of finding a secluded location and having the time to enjoy it before moving on to another marvellous part of the River.

There are places to stop and things to do on-shore such as stopping for a camel ride, exploring some of the towns you may visit or enjoying a meal at one of the hotels.
