Originally a summering place for the working horse teams of the district, with many reminders of a bygone era. This lovely old cottage has a friendly ambiance with wide verandahs, slate floors, exposed wooden beams, throw rugs, rendered walls and picture windows. The cottage contains 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, fully self contained, quiet and relaxing.

Sit and relax by the wood fire in winter and watch the horses come down to drink and the birds cavort around the garden. End the day in a relaxing bubble bath with a glass of wine and unwind. Watch one of the many DVDs supplied for your enjoyment.

Sandalmere property has a great history and used to be the summering place for the block horses of years ago. There are still lots of relics of this bye gone era and it is now home to our own Australian Stock Horses.

Only 8 minutes from the historic “Port of Morgan”, and 3 minutes from Cadell, is truly an “Australian” experience. Close to all Riverland venues and only minutes from the River Murray and popular “Hog Wash Bend” picnic and swimming spot.
