The Murrabit Cod Challenge is a fishing competition held on the Murray River and is hosted annually by the Murrabit Football Club. Target species are the mighty Murray Cod and Golden Perch. Fishing is held on the Murray River approx 6km either side of the Murrabit Bridge. Price includes camping and meals at the Murrabit Recreation Reserve and entry into the Major Raffle:
1st Prize – 399 Stacer Proline Boat with 30hp Motor and Trailer
2nd Prize – Engel Portable Fridge
3rd Prize – Electric Boat Motor
Meals:
Friday Night: Tea (from 6pm).
Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch (on water) and Roast Tea.
Sunday: Breakfast and BBQ Lunch.
