After standing ovations and sold out shows at Edinburgh Fringe and appearances on BBC and Scottish Television, Matthew Fagan, Lord of the Strings! Australia’s leading all-round acoustic guitarist with The Electric Guitar Orchestra (EGO) as a highlight of the show performs contemporary metal and Classical masters.
From Bach to the Beatles, Flamenco to Blues and Celtic Harp Music on unique 10 String Guitar, Lord of the Strings is the ultimate music journey packed with humour.
Lord of the Strings has wowed fans all over the globe in over 120 countries and has toured with, Michael Crawford, Billy Connolly, Shirley Bassey, Natalie Cole and The Buena Vista Social Club. Lord of the Strings performs banjo music from the album
A Song for Billy (Connolly) inspired by their 53 night tour together and Billy gifting Matthew his liberty Banjo. The album is a special fundraising project for Parkinson’s disease inspired by Billy’s positive approach to living with this condition.
Crowd favourites returning in 2017 are the hilarious Guitar Challenge, where Lord of the Strings performs a medley of audience guitar requests including some of his own, accompanied with a selection of 300 sounds effects from his guitar synth. A round the world trip on Ukulele and Matthew’s virtuosic hit rendition of J S Bach’s Toccata on Steel String Guitar which featured on ABC TV.
