2010 Echuca Mini Marathon is a 50km mini marathon from Barmah to Echuca. The event is the perfect training opportunitiy for those interested in the VicSuper Murray Marathon (run annually over 5 days from 26 Dec-31Dec) as the mini’s 50km course covers a large section of Day Three of the VicSuper Murray Marathon. The mini starts at Checkpoint Bravo (just off the main road, north of the Barmah Bridge) and goes through 2 checkpoints along the way (Checkpoints Charlie and Delta as per Day 3 of the Marathon). Start to Checkpoint 1 = 12km, Checkpoint 1 to Checkpoint 2 = 17km, Checkpoint 2 to finish = 21km. Download the registration form from the website and return it by October 1, 2010. You can register on the day of the event, but these on-the-day registrations attract an additional $10 fee.
