Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia 25th Anniversary Rally

During April 2011, Deniliquin will welcome the CMCA to celebrate its 25th Anniversary Rally.
The CMCA was founded on April 11 1986.
Within ten months of its inception, membership of the Club had passed the 500 mark (about 1000 people), and at the first Anniversary rally at Swansea on Lake Macquarie NSW in May 1987, member number 600 was welcomed into the Club. Membership finally reached the 1,000 mark in July 1988, with the membership scattered throughout every state and territory of Australia.
Currently the Club has some 58,000 members.
Our founders Don and Erica Whitworth must surely be amazed when they now witness how their idea to form a group of like minded travelers has grown into Australia’s largest R.V. group.
As current members we must thank all the members who have held positions on the board, in local chapters and acted as volunteers at all the rallies to date.
Throughout the year the staff at our National Headquarters work tirelessly to keep our affairs ticking over and providing members with information and support.
To celebrate all the effort that has been put in by so many to get us to where we are today let’s all -
